Piano Certificate Program
Based on the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, the PCP is a rigorous curriculum that charts student progress through two preparatory stages and ten levels of achievement. Students who participate in the program will have performance opportunities, recieve external adjudication, and will be awarded a certificate of achievement at the completion at each level. Those who complete the highest levels will have a will-rounded music education.
SIGN-UP!
1. Talk to your piano teacher and complete the registation form to get your certificate folder.
2. Register for a supporting course at Third Street such as Music Theory, Choir, Piano Ensemble, Chamber Music, Rock Band or Jazz Band.
GROW!
1. Perform three times at Third Street. Choose from music hours, master classes, holiday concerts and other special events.
2. Learn from the pros. Attend two master classes throughout the year.
3. Track your growth. Perform for department chair and outside adjudicators twice during the year to recieve feedback. Pieces are performed by memory and will represent three different musical eras.

Special Project Form
Students not attending an additional class at Third Street may substitute a class or musical activity fro another institution.

Final Exam Forms

This comprises the repertoire portion of the program, during which students perform three pieces of contrasting styles for a panel of faculty evaluators.
Performance Record
Students are required to perform at Third Street recitals and/or events at least three times during the school year.
