Barbara E. Field Chamber Music Program

Chamber music study at Third Street provides an opportunity for students to work with Third Street instructors in the intimacy of a smaller group setting. Our chamber music groups emphasize group collaboration, personal growth, goal setting and structured classes with expert chamber music coaches.

The Chamber Music program is open for all instrument and voice students aged 7-18 with at least 2-3 years of experience.

Third Street’s Chamber Music ensembles meet throughout the academic year in three 10-week rotations.

Each ensemble receives one hour of coaching and instruction taught by Third Street’s Chamber Music Faculty coaches. In addition to weekly coaching, Chamber Music students receive feedback in guest master classes throughout the year with professional chamber musicians and groups.

Students returning to the Third Street Chamber Music program or Summer Workshop do not need to audition.
