ISO at Third Street Concert Orchestra

An intermediate/advanced mixed ensemble orchestra the Concert Orchestra brings young instrumentalists together for inclusive, ensemble-based music-making in a friendly environment.


Concert Orchestra combines young instrumentalists, professional section coaches, expert conductors, and exceptional concert experiences together for an exciting and impactful orchestral experience.


NYC's largest youth orchestra program, at ISO at Third Street every young musician will find the right place for themselves to create beautiful music with their peers.

Placement Auditions

All new students wishing to join the ISO at Third Street Concert Orchestra or any current Third Street Music School students interested in trying out for the next orchestra must submit a video audition for placement. 


Returning students staying in their current orchestra for 2024-2025 do not need to re-audition.

Page Silverman-Primm,

Conductor

A violinist with over 10 years of experience as a conductor at various programs throughout New York City. Page is the teacher of orchestral music at Tottenville High School where she leads the Symphony and Intermediate level orchestras as well as the Tottenville High School Chamber Ensemble. Her NYSSMA participating orchestra has received the prestigious award of Gold with Distinction.


Page is the Orchestral Director for the Staten Island Salute to Music String Orchestra which regularly performs in Carnegie Hall and the Orchestra Director at the Summer Arts Program. She worked for seven years as the Professor of String Studies at the Wagner College Music program. She has performed violin with various orchestral organizations and orchestras throughout the tri-state area such as the String orchestra of Brooklyn and the One World Symphony.
